The first time i played Rimworld one of my starting pawns was a drug addict by default, so she constantly was in a bad mood. Then she married of my colonists and saved his life when he was attacked by a mad ram when hunting. Then he broke up with her and she had a major breakdown because of that and started destroying her bedroom. When the breakdown was over, she was in a bad mood because her bedroom was empty and dirty(which was her own fault) and because of that she had another breakdown and began wandering around blindly, while wandering she walked into a cave full of insectoids and got murdered. 10/10

Since you love cheese and getting games on discount...Fell Seal. Please. It's hands down the highest cheese potential SRPG I've ever seen, and it cracks me up that I've legitimately gotten team wiped by a Furry Vampire Assassin that drowned everyone in a fountain.

I once had a man named hans in my base. He was our best planter, Shooter, and Animals person. Suffice to say, he was the backbone of my colony, providing all the food. Then I got raided. So I built uranium slug turrets in my gardens. Then, my colony found cryptosleep caskets in a cave. Bunch of ancient dudes and my colony was injured, but got some gear. Then, we got raided again. Hans, now decked out with a marksmanger helmet and an exoskeleton, the backbone of my colony, set off to defend us. And got shot in the fucking spine. The backbone of my colony was broken, and we had nobody capable of making food. So as we starved, I threw him into the cryptosleep casket, and we researched all the way to bionics as we fucking starved. And then we lived. Oh, and I think that save I dropped drug trafficking for textile exporting because it was more profitable, and I already had several thousand beers and was running out of space. I had like a 15x10 storage room full of assorted drugs.

Neurotic is actually really good. It raises work speed by a LOT (40% if VERY neurotic) compared to troll skills like wimp and volatile.

The game everyone wants to try, but developer refuses to put on sale out of obvious greed. I want you guys to look at this evidence the game was originally 30$ now its 35$ for no apparent reason. Whenever it goes on sale it only goes on sale for 10% off meaning its now 31$. The player base claims its so he doesn't "Devalue the backers" the backers who received the game paid 20$. Meaning the developer can go up to 40% without making them pay more than anyone else. The backers also got their name added to the game, so its not like they got nothing out of it. Its been 4 years since the kick starter campaign ended and the developer added Royalty a dlc, and two more sound tracks. The dlc also doesn't go on sale and it's the exact same price, the backers paid for the alpha version of the game. They claim he also doesn't want to do a major sale on a game that is still in active development, the last major update was September 11th (poor timing) meaning four months ago. That isn't active development that is an excuse to continue not post the game on sale, and then the community will say, "iT DoEsN't NeEd To It SoLd 2 MiLlion cOpIes!" note this is flat out pulled from nothing. There is no way to view total sales, so this is assumption but less than 100k reviewed the game and a majority are positive. Sure its well received but the game is overpriced and has no major controversies, besides the developer being a greedy and looking at the book that's another 35$. Jeez you hate this guy the more you look into it, its like EA as an indie dev and to think I would've caved in and bought this game three years ago if I hadn't researched it.

Way late to the party, but oh well. My best base was an arctic fortress, advanced enough with tech to allow artificial heating, mortars, high-grade armor and a team of skilled professionals, that were set to overcome (almost) any task. Too bad, that during a fucking lightning strike one of the team's dogs catches fire, runs through the inner part of the base, and sets of fire the only single cable, that was not duplicated to prevent the major power outage to most defense systems, and what's more important, the generator block (why I didn't bother to make a safety infrastructure is beyond me at this point). Usually, I'd use an exhaust cold air from my A/Сs to freeze raiders to death in the death labyrinth of doom, but not that time. Needless to say, the whole colony perished soon enough due to fire, deaths, trauma, and, sometimes later, freezing to death in their sleep. Randy just threw a little lightning strike to a specific dog. Often when I play, I imagine what future historians would say, trying to uncover this mess - that the colony just burned from inside out. Love Randy and the game though, your video made me to want to do another run.
