Literally bought and played this just now. First run? Some wacky BS multi-armed, axe-wielding mutant. All was going well. Killed some of those wolf looking things and got to level 2. Found a house with 2 Glowpads in it. Read some books from their bookshelf, and took the books myself. What could plants want with books, right? WRONG. As soon as I tried to leave the house, the Glowpad in the way started biting my ass so now, with 2 axes and a knife, I wailed on it. Got killed by a tortoise 10 minutes later though. Great game.

The drama over this game was just ridiculous. "We wanna play as the (as Sseth described them) Turbo Augmented Race Purists" Despite you can't really play as any faction. And what are you gonna do if you could? Just subjugate and kill everyone? Cause that's all that it would be. Yea, really interesting and cool faction. 10/10 Playthrough died of dehydration.

A girl I went to high school with died in the Nutty Putty caves. If i remember correctly there was a part of the cave that you had to go underwater. she got stuck there and drowned. after that they filled in the cave so you cant go in there anymore.

I think the real lesson here is that it doesn't matter if you're an augmented human or a mutated human or even a sapient banana creature with weird ass powers or funky gadgets only what you choose to do with such. That is do you use your abilities and tools to help people, improve their lives, promote peaceful coexistence between sentient species, and be an example of virtue to others or do you seek to strike fear into their hearts, enslave them, and just generally be a huge ashole or a combination of the above, doing good things for some and being a right bastard to others using exploits. In the end it's an adventure you can write for yourself, which is awsome!
